We have always been told that drinking eight 8-oz. glasses of water a day is essential to good health. As well, we have always been told that drinking soft drinks, coffee, tea and other liquid substitutes is not the answer.
In our last article we talked about the importance of diet. If your pet has arthritis or joint-related problems, it becomes very important to do the right thing with diet. (Of course, it is for all pets.)
There is often a misunderstanding of exactly what role glucosamine plays in rehabilitating cartilage within joints. Check out Arthritis and Glucosamine Information!Advertisement
Arthritis and Foods we eatBy J. R. Rogers
By now I think most of you know that arthritis (osteoarthritis) is caused by many factors. Aging is one factor. Overuse and injuries are another. And, a host of other reasons. It can be brought on by poor posture; being overweight (stressing joint structures); poor posture; viral and bacterial diseases and more. Fortunately, there are many things we can do to minimize the impact of arthritis on our lives. Foods we eat The foods we consume can have a direct impact on our arthritis. For example, a diet that is low in nutrients but high in processed acid-forming food and drink can cause problems. And, stimulants such as caffeine, tobacco, sugar and alcohol are a big issue. The reason is that these kinds of (oxidants) poison cellular structures. Remember that. Oxidants are trouble. I have said it for years and will say it again. Taking a high-quality liquid Glucosamine such as Syn-flex® is a big help. Regular exercise and sensible eating along with that regimen can offer big gains in the arthritis department. Oxidants As noted, “oxidants” are destructive. So, it is also essential to add a powerful “anti-oxidant” to your diet supplementation to fight back. And, it can be found in a product called Viva! Acai™. The Acai Berry is the world’s most powerful antioxidant. It fights back against “cellular oxidation” and provides you with a wealth of other health benefits. To learn more about Viva! Acai™ visit www.best-acai.org. Or, to order it directly go to www.viva-acai.com. It is a product that anyone suffering from arthritis needs to be aware of. See you next time.
